Jigawa Hisbah Receives 27 Hilux Vehicles to Boost Operations
The Jigawa State Hisbah Command has received 27 Hilux vehicles to strengthen its operations and enhance service delivery across the state’s 27 local government areas.

The vehicles, alongside their documents, were formally handed over to the Commander General of the Jigawa State Hisbah Command, Dr. Fa’iz Bashir Haruna, at the command’s headquarters in Dutse.

Dr. Fa’iz commended the Hisbah Review and Implementation Committee for its efforts to reform and strengthen the organisation, describing the initiative as a demonstration of Governor Malam Umar Namadi’s commitment to improving the operational capacity of the Hisbah Command.

He stated that the vehicles would be distributed across the 27 local government areas and assured the state government that they would be utilised effectively for their intended purposes.

Earlier, the Chairman of the Review and Implementation Committee and Secretary to the Jigawa State Government, Malam Bala Ibrahim Memser, reaffirmed the government’s commitment to promoting social security and creating a conducive environment for residents.

He urged the Hisbah Command to discharge its responsibilities with dedication, intensify public enlightenment and expand its Da’awah activities across the state.

The provision of the vehicles is expected to improve the mobility, operational efficiency and response capacity of Hisbah personnel, enabling the command to carry out its responsibilities more effectively across Jigawa State.
