Overview
The Jigawa State Hisbah Board is a statutory institution established to uphold the social and moral fabric of our society. Grounded in the principles of community welfare, the Board serves as a bridge between traditional values and modern administrative governance, ensuring that the inhabitants of Jigawa State live in an environment that fosters spiritual growth and social harmony.
Through mediation, education, and proactive community engagement, Hisbah operates as a non-adversarial body focused on reconciliation and guidance. Our officers are trained to handle domestic disputes, market ethics, and youth mentorship with the highest level of decorum and professional integrity.
“The Hisbah Board is established under the Jigawa State Hisbah Law, empowered to monitor the implementation of moral standards and provide mediation services for the resolution of civil disputes among citizens.”— Section 4, Jigawa State Hisbah Law (Amended)
